I feel like Martinez will be an awesome fit. Someone who can not only contribute on the ice. But help solidify the confidence on the blue line, build character and guide the young D towards how to not only elevate their game but to elevate their character and dedication to hard work and positive thinking.
Great addition! Need that veteran defenseman (other than Murphy) to mentor these young guys.
Our young D need a guy like Alec, along with Seth Jones. Arty, Korchinski, and Vlasic will turn out to be a really solid D core in the future. Now we just need more offensive guys to come through the pipe!
