  1. Idk maybe its not the day to day, its adding a guy that has many years of nhl experience who knows what to do in certain tough situations

  2. Buffalo got a proven player in Macleod, still getting better ,, and look how much slag he is getting! Prospects aren't proven and may nor transition to big league pace.

  3. Mcleod is a good pick up for Buffalo, he's young, his contract is good. he plays hard. Mcleod was very good in the Stanley Cup Finals, that's what matters. The prospect being traded is just that " a prospect that may be a bust" Good trade Buffalo, you got a proven Stanley Cup player. Read what the Buffalo analytics were on Mcleod, it's very good. I see why they made this trade.

  4. Ceci I would think is the next guy to be moved. His contract is up after this coming season, so I wouldn't be surprised if he gets dealt between the season's start and the trade deadline. He's not a bad D-man, just not worth $3M AAV.

  5. Now lose Ceci and the "Great Pretender"….Nurse…….Get some seriously needed Muscle! That's a pretty soft looking team right now.

  6. Every trade & move has to clear Jackson anyway so why be GM & a public target for the general public to criticize?? The GM has to react to public opinion & opinion makers. A president doesn’t.

  7. Savoie cannot be put on waivers. He can go back & forth between NHL & AHL team for 3yrs without risking losing him on waivers. Three years to develop him to be his best at his own pace.

  8. its crazy that even in the position to fleece the oilers, buffalo gave up savoie. i don't even understand. sabres shouldn't have gave up more than a 4th round pick for a salary dump lol. management must hate buffalo or something.
