#EdmontonOilers #Oilers #NHL #NHLTradeRumors #NHLRumors

  1. i feel like the "market for ceci" is only if Oilers include a draft pick but ceci is a RD so maybe teams are dumb enough to want him

  2. I wonder if McDavid realizes or thinks about how responsible he is for the overinflated contract awarded to darnell nurse. If any dman should be moved it should be nurse, – 9 in the playoffs, was up to -15 before the Oilers won those 3 games in the final. That's just recently, over the course of his career he's singlehandedly lost games and cost them a lot of Ws. But he's McDavid's buddy, I just hope McDavid's realizes this and maybe talks with nurse about improving his play, or there'll be no cup.

  3. Hold on a second here. Evander Kane doesn't need surgery and should be fine by training camp. So why put him on LTIR? We should either trade him for cap space or play him.

  4. The only reason the Oilers should trade Ceci is if they can upgrade a top 4 RHD. Ceci is MUCH better than people give him credit for

  5. If you take the Oilers top 5, who play together a lot (McDavid, Draisaitl, Hyman, Bouchard, Ekholm) who get 99% of the PP points- the next best +|- on the team is Ceci. There will be teams who want him and the Oilers would only be trading him for cap space, not because of his overall play. Nurse isn’t moving, Kane will be ready to play by September and doesn’t need hip surgery, so you can forget the LTIR idea.

  6. Kanes toughness needs to stay. Our lines are too homogenized. Too many of the same size and temperment of players. Oilers are beta-males.

  7. There WILL be lots of interest in a right shot D-man like ceci ,ITS WHAT WE CAN GET BACK FOR HIM , that's interesting????

    P-S love the sunglasses 🕶️
I hear the weather's GREAT OUT THERE 😎 NICE + HOT , ENJOY

  8. Scrap Kane take his salary cap and get somebody who's more reliable. Leon performed pretty badly due to injury in the finals, but his horrible form is like Kane's 50%. But I know he's in a contract that protects him so getting rid of him isn't that easy.

  9. Kane isn't going any where he doesn't want to leave they need his grit and toughness if healthy he is a player they need he has helped get them to there current position people saying get rid of him don't know who do they have for banging dropping gloves and he is a natural goal scorer

  10. If we dont have him on LTIR we accrue money (this happened last year for the first time for us in a long time) It allowed us to have more money to go out and afford better options at the trade deadline. Not ideal having him on LTIR and should be our last option.

  11. Ship Kane to NJ for Erik Haula and a draft pick. We will need the extra cash for Draisaitl. That move would free up about $3 mill in space and I believe we are in the last year of the James Neal buyout for another $1mill. The cap in rease next year should take care of the rest. Haula can hold his own. Serviceable 3rd line center, maybe see some PT on the 2nd line as well.

  12. Kane has a no move clause till 25 Feb would be tough to trade maybe he takes ltir until then?

  13. i still dont understand resigning stetcher wasting that money when they have to sign broberg and holloway smh on that
