It’s an impressive list but Kane did it in his rookie year in the OHL, Stamkos and Tavares both did it in their sophomore years while Romani did it in his 3rd year.
Dane Fox put up 64 in his 5th year.
I have high hopes for Romani, the exact type of pick you want to take late but lets relax with the hype train a bit.
I really can’t understand why he fell so far. I know he was a year older but even for his age the numbers are extremely promising. Hope he’s playing in Abbotsford this year.
Yeah I don’t fully understand this. If we had taken a flyer on him last year in the 3rd round say, and he turned in a D+1 year of 58 goals we would be hyped to the moon. Is skating more of an issue than its being made out to be? Is he seen as a passenger more than a driver?
I think it’s safe to say he could either be the next Dane Fox or the next Pavel Datsyuk.

I know with the CHL/NHL agreement, Romani has to return to the OHL, but what more has he have to gain in that league since he put up over 100 points in his D+1 Season?
