Should be cheap. How many wingers do we need though?

Here’s to hoping a Debrusk Petey Sprong line clicks. Allows Hoglander to be a goalscoring energy guy in the bottom 6.

The most exciting thing about this if true is that Sprong should significantly improve the effectiveness of PP2 which to this point doesn’t really have a shooter.
I think he and Heinen are going to help a lot in that area even if Sprong isn’t necessarily an every day player

Lol, people thought Dhali was just making up rumors yesterday saying Canucks were interested
NerdPunch
My spidey sense feels like this is a precursor to a Hoglander trade for a player higher up the lineup.

Remember when Daniel Sprong said “it’s sprongin’ time” and spronged all over that guy

Anyone else not the biggest fan of this? Felt happy w the forward group already and now less space for a D-man either now or during the season
Well if you want someone who’s gonna take shots there you go
Drance going to be psyched lol

Wow that is a steal! I was expecting much more than that. Great depth pickup.

Is he now the #1 PP2 bumper spot candidate?
I can’t see him regularly lining up in the top 6 because of his d-zone deficiencies, but if guys are slumping, or someone in the top 6 is hurt he has enough skill to play on the top 6…
But he would probably have been a great guy to play in the top 6 against the Oilers when Brock went down and we couldn’t generate offense.
23 goal scorer pace (over 82 games) over the last 2 seasons.
Made 2 million last season (I didn’t see what he signed for above); it would be nice if we got him cheaper than that as he was a July 1st signing last year and this years date of signing probably means he should have to settle for less than that)
edit: wow for 975k when he made 2 million last season (and had a pretty good season) is a great deal!!!

Just have surface level knowledge of Sprong, why did he go so cheap with back to back 40+ point seasons?
National-Bag7261
18 and 21g the last 2 seasons at <1m, and 30 of those are EV strength goals. That’s a good value no matter how you look at it.
People criticize his D but forget he was a +13 with the Kraken 2 years ago. That’s not too bad. Last year was close to EV on a mediocre Red Wings team.

How many right wingers do we have now? Holy crap

He is Dutch and only loves gooooals, isn’t that weird?

Jim Rutherford always gets his guy, good signing

Not sure if this signing is right or sprong, but I’m here for it.
