I find it funny, how Canucks need to find a winger for Petey or need to find a top 6 scoring winger or wingers. Canucks had the perfect guy in Kuzmenko. Petey got over 100 points with him and Kuz got like 70+ points and almost 40 goals. But let's get rid of this guy, so now Canucks have to find a replacement? Makes a lot of sense to me. Yes, I know Tocchet didn't like him but look what happened to Petey and look at all the trouble trying to find a replacement. And no one knows how good or bad these new players are going to be.

Ever since the season ended and the off season started I was advocating for the Canucks to get Sprong, I didn't understand why no team has signed him so I was hoping the Canucks would be the team to sign him. So I can't believe we got him now! And for that price too! Talk about a no risk deal.
