Brett Baty is tearing the cover off the ball in the Minors and is now blocked from the Majors. Ronnie Mauricio is well thought of, despite missing this year. Where’s he going to play? They can have him. ANY of our Top Pitching Prospects not named Christian Scott, let them have their pick! Skubal’s a sure thing. Give them a HUGE package that won’t hurt us! Skubal’s 27 and NOT a FA until 27! Waddy look at Fedde’s career numbers. He has not had a year close to this. WHY?
Mets fans kill me we win 2 games vs the Marlins a series vs the lowly Yankees and 2 games vs the depleted Braves now think we are a contender… Trade Pete sign Soto Martin Perez and Christian Walker and go for it next year with a healthy Senga Mauricio etc.

A few years ago , actually on multiple occasions, the Mets teed off on Fedde, they destroyed Fedde when he was with the Nationals!
Rather have Jack Flaherty..Fredde cant pitch in NL EAST. DISASTER WITH NATIONALS. Al never seen him before numbers are good because of that. Trade for Tariq or Crochet or even Snell now…SF wants to trade him. He is lights out last 5 starts..struck out 15ks in 6 tonight just saying
Forget Fredde. He has good numbers because AL doesnt know him YET. NL EAST will tear Fredde up. Trade for Flaherty, Scherzer, Snell . Maybe Crochet or Tariq would be better. Try for Tanner Scott or guy from Angela and Diaz from Cincy. I know we need a leftt gaser because Diekman just walks too many and then gives up the long ball too much. He is good for maybe a couple batters. Lets go mets
Tylor Megill in this starting rotation is not sustainable. Next spring, if he’s still here, he should be converted to a reliever. Look at his brother.

Fedde is avg with a career 4.92 era. I think Mets can do better
Why do you like Erick so much. I don't know him much. I think I would want someone who can potentially take over as the next ace. But let's see where Stearns go. What other names are out there. I want a strike out pitcher. I'm tired of ground ball pitchers. The Mets should add someone who can strike people out now that Senga might be out. The rotation without Senga doesn't really seem to have 1 guy like that.
Yeah I just saw some of the names that are available. If the Mets are going for it like I think they should, out of the names I saw, and to replace Senga, Flathery is the man they need to get. That's the reasonable replacement for Senga. He throws hard with command and has nasty swing and miss breaking stuff and when Senga is back, now you have Senga and Flathery along with Severino, Quintana, a rising Peterson and Manea. Now we are talking. They don't get Crochet? but they get Jack? , I'll be content with that. That's who I want now. I saw his stuff. I don't want Fedde. I don't want Taillon or Kikuchi or whatever his name is. I wish the cubs were out of contention so the Mets can try to get you already know. The man they should've went after the moment they didn't get the other japanese star.
I'm hoping to hear news that they're going after Flathery. Forget these other names. If anything, Snell is second on my list if they don't get Jack. They went for someone electric in Stanick for the bullpen. They can't just get some pitcher who's not really going to bring fire to the rotation now with Senga out. It doesn't make sense in my head. They're either going for it or they aren't. They can't be half hearted about it.
Maybe I won't get what I want. Maybe they won't get Jack. But now you know who I want. Unless they're going crazy and going after Crochet. Jack is it. He struck out 14 in under 7 innings. That's real. That's what the Mets need. Now and if they crack into the postseason. Senga might end up ready by then and now you have that 1-2 punch. Common now. That's what I'm talking about.
