  1. The story Bieksa told on HNIC this year about hiding the game puck from young Tkachuk, only to give in and hand it to Stajan, is a cool little story. And a look at a kinda "deep hockey" tradition/meta that not everyone knows about.

  2. Is that why he wasn't named to the NHL 100? Did he piss off too many people with those remarks? I couldn't believe they voted for Mats Sundin over him. Sundin's a great player, but Thornton had already passed Sundin in career points by 2018 plus Sundin never was 1st team All Star or a Hart Trophy winner or got to a Cup Final

  3. buff vs kane is a beef i remember fondly. or just a video about byfuglien in general. once in a century player. no should have his size, skill, grace and dominating physical traits EVER, but he did

  4. Torts wasn't wrong. He's one of my fav coaches ever. Richards, Lecavalier, St. Louis was one of the best.

  5. As a flames fan when the conversation about past events comes up the real killer was 2004 when we lost to Tampa in game 7. Would be interesting to see your thoughts on the play and give a bit of a breakdown for the series. Love the channel!

  6. I am a Sharks fan and I love Joe, but he's not getting in the hall because like Tortorella said, he never won dickety shit. Individual awards mean nothing without a ring.

  7. In a podcast, they asked Ian White what it was like playing with Joe Thornton in San Jose and all he had to say was that Jumbo Joe would yell on the bench to give him the fuckin puck if he didn’t touch it enough.

  8. Torts wasnt wrong… lol … Thornton should have retired after the 16-17 season … he did absolutely fucking nothing besides take up space after that lol

  9. Why are the New York Rangers constantly putting world-class goalies in position to make endless strings of impossible saves? It's almost like the skaters think they're being paid to reenact the surrender of New Amsterdam in 1664…especially whenever they play teams in red…

  10. The more I reflect on your content of the past, and the more I observe it recently, the more I realize you are focused way too much on being angry over nothing and making sure your entire fanbase knows it. I'm unsubbing from your channels for it. For the two cents it's worth, I recognize that I'm just one rando on the Internet, so I know my leaving will likely not mean a thing to you, which is fine. I only say all of this so you might have a chance to see what you could do better. Good luck to you.

  11. Sooo, the Rangers didn't win anything, Thornton didn't win anything, and Tortorella has a cup, in 2004.
Hate to say it, but he was right. Which is a shame, because I like Joe more than I like Torts, but hey. It's part of the fun in the NHL.

  12. Marian Hossa losing with the Pens vs the Wings in the Cup Finals -> signing with Detroit -> losing with the Wings vs the Pens in the Cup Finals the very next season -> everyone believing he was legitimately cursed.
What a player wish he got talked about more.

  13. Hmm, i think i would be more embarassed to never win a cup with King Henrik, especially as one of papa Bettman's darling teams, than Joe.

  14. I mean, the smurfs have always been known to be soft, and with good reason. The only semblance of toughness they ever had was when they brought in that cheap shot artist Messier. That guy just loved throwing blind side elbows
