Crazy how almost everyone wrote Kane off, he had 92 points in 78 games during the 21-22 season, he only had one down year and still put up 57 points in 73 games playing with his bad hip.
If the wings had Kane from the beginning of last season they would have easily made the playoffs

The wings are finally out of the muck that is Ken Holland draft fumbles. The yzerplan is finally seeing fruit and I'm excited to see Detroit make runs again, even though they are division rivals to my sens.

As a Wings fan I was disheartened by all the talk he was going to sign elsewhere. Super excited he re-signed. Kaner was fun to watch last year, I cannot wait for the season to start.

Wings should be a bit better this year and make the playoffs. The Caps will likely miss as they need to rebuild. The Caps seem like they care ore about helping Ovi break a Gretzky record than winning.

This could be Patty Kane's victory lap knowing his parents sent him to Honeybaked as a kid. Early 2000s Red Wings had Yzerman, Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Osgood fighting Roy type of late playoff runs. Monumental influence. All the best

I’m a hawks fan and was raised to hate the red wings in which I did of course but I can’t help but really really like this team now, not only because of Patrick Kane and Debrincat but the whole staff and roster just seem like amazing hard working people that are dedicated to their city and to bring home a cup. I respect the red wings and look forward to them making the playoffs this year!
As a Wings fan I believe the Red Wings rebuild is just a beginning of the season but the end of the is very tough for them.
