#EdmontonOilers #Oilers #NHL #LetsGoOilers

  1. Right now the key is to make as few changes as possible. Everybody caught onto there roles and played them well. We finished the series with no Kane and an 80% Draisaitl. My biggest question is what's up with Desharnais??? He got us to the cup but then wasn't used when we needed his size and strength the most. I'm hoping our free agents agree to some short term decent money contracts to go for another cup run, before going for the big bucks with other teams.

  2. Right from the first puck drop it seemed like the Oilers were only firing on one line and that line only played 11 minutes.

  3. I can’t get behind Nurse. Unfortunately no other team will take him now because of what they saw in the playoffs

  4. I think ceci needs to go and we need to sign a d partner for nurse, but if broby can play as well as he did with nurse next year then we found a d man with nurse

  5. congratulations oilers the ineveitable loss finally came to the most boring team by far in the NHL, since the New Jersey devils wich nearly killed the league in the 90s and changed the rules.

  6. Should be a firesale, how could you have somebody that is the reincarnation of gretzky, but fail to help him compete for cups, this was only his first chance and the whole team blew it.

  7. It's going to be tough for the Oilers to get back to the cup final. You only build a cup contender once and to repeat next month in this cap environment is pure luck. What sucks for the Oilers is they lost by 1 goal. That's what is going to haunt Oiler fans for the rest of their lives.

  8. Nurse and Drai need a change. It would be good for everyone. Drai was such a no show on the biggest game of his life. No excuses pls

  9. The only good thing that came out of this series is we know Stewie is a number 1 goalie and Brobergh is definitely ready to make the team.

  10. When the oilers make it next year, there will be much more hype than this year because people know that edm can make it all the way

  11. They went 16-0, after putting themselves in a position to have to just to have a playoff chance. They won 3 straight games Vs Panthers after having put themselves in a position to have to to not be eliminated. "We have yet to begin to fight" is a horrible motto 15 games into a season and 4 games into a playoff series. Is Skinner a #1? I don't see it. Is Mcleod a player? I don't see it. Still a soft team, and still some upgrades to be done with this team , but it's close.

  12. What to do with Bouch? I am not a personal fan, i feel he does not possess defensive skills, yes he does have slap shot, but if he did not have his bomb would be in the likes of a eckholm defense or in the column of ceci and kulak? for every goal he scores he allows 3 against, due to his turnovers. If he hit and took the body as he does with his shot, you might be able to make a case, but the fact remains he's a flower and taps out in the aggressive side of the game. I get sick to my stomach when i hear people say he's going to command and the oilers need to pay him in the 10 million range :(, we already have a 9.5 million overpaid defenseman. When i think of a 9-10 million d-man his name does not come to mind, A 92 mile Hr. slap shoot does not warrant 9-10 million, What kind of d-man comes to my mind that warrants that kind of money are great d-man like Makar, bourq, chelios, coffee, progner, burns, doughty, d-man who can not only contribute offensively but win you a game by shutting IT down "DEFENSIVELY"

  13. for all those saying this was an accomplishment because look where we were in Novemeber, think what your expectation was in September. The start sucked and we have a story to tell, but the expectation for the season was cup or bust!

  14. Considering the age of some players and the usual cap challenges, changes are in order.

  15. What a ride this season. Im so proud of this team they made it to the finals and pushed it to a tight game 7!

  16. For Broberg i dont know if he changed his mind but doesn't he not want to be in EDM Oiler anymore, cause i swear he still doesnt want to be an Oiler, But to me i would trade Ceci and Broberg and see if i could put Campbell in there

  17. The Boyz should be proud of themselves, just will make them stronger for next year. As a Oiler fan from the 80's I'm dam proud of what they did this year.

  18. As long as Nurse is on the team we are cap screwed. What a pylon! We are stuck with him as no one wants his contract. We need to trade Drai and get a couple of solid D men and a backup goalie. Bouchard and Ekholm are our top pair. Trade Ceci and Kulak. Place Nurse on 2nd pairing (if can’t trade him )with a solid shut down D man. Then have Broberg with a shut down D man on the 3rd pairing. That should give us a nice mix of shut down D men with offensive minded D men.

  19. 😪😪 Jack Cambell will be gone. Conor McDavid will be gone too? He probably go to Los Angeles. 😁😁😁! L.A sent Pierre-Luc Dubois to Washington for Darcy Kuemper. PLD is 26 years old, Darcy Kuemper is 34 years old. L.A would love to get Conor McDavid or Zach Hyman.

  20. Let's be honest, the better team won. The Florida Panthers demonstrated more consistent performance throughout the season compared to the Edmonton Oilers. Any Jets or Flames fan will tell you that you can't just barely make the playoffs and fluke your way to a cup.

  21. Note, it was the grunts that made the last series even close. This is not a playoff team. It was aided by soft opposition and loads of luck to get as far as they did. Won't happen again.

  22. I don't think Holland did to bad of a job his team made it he has experience I think Drisitle stays they still have a cup contender in Edmonton

  23. Holy Shit what a series and playoff run. Though I know Oiler country is down to not bring it home. But my goodness what a run. What a showing by the boys. Even though McDavid and Draisaitl, cracked ribs and all, didnt end up lifting the cup and scoring in the last two games. They held their own against Floridas best and didnt give up much in the D zone. McDavid almost broke the Greatest One's Playoff scoring record. Mark my words, McDavid is not done growing into himself and next year we will all see another level from him. 150 plus points. This team goes back to the WCF at minimum barring injury. And my 1st team is Dallas, yes I am from Texas and have followed DTv for years. I am Proud of these guys. The bottom 6, the D Core. Skinner really playing better than I believed him to be. He is a true gamer! But also the fans. My goodness Edmonton was ROCKING!!! That is why I love this team, partly anyway. The Passion you all have is unbelievable and I WILL get to a game one day! Bucket Listed already! Team is moving on from that anchor called GM Holland. I am truly excited for this team and what happens next season… Play La Bamba Baby!!! I LOVE Hockey and this team! God Bless you all and hope you all have a fantastic summer!
