  1. I loved Brad Park. If it weren’t for Bobby Orr being the greatest hockey player in the world and greatest defenseman ever, Brad Park would have won 6 Norris trophies as best defenseman Park finished 2nd six times to Orr in the voting !! I hated when we traded Park to Boston. Park was that damn good but no one in the league was better than Orr. Not even the Centers and Wingers. Orr was better than everyone in the NHL for 8 years. Park was just a notch or 2 below Orr. I bought his book called play the man by Brad Park in paper back in 1972 . I was a big hockey fan starting in 1971 as a 7 year old he was my favorite player along with Eddie Giacomin.. I remember the trade like it was yesterday. The Rangers and Bruins despised each other and had also played each other in the 1972 Stanley Cup finals!! A legend at the blue line!!!
