Got nobody to blame but themselves for going on bargain bin spending spree on July 1. Oldest team in the league paid medium dollars to sign/re-sign aging vets. They were already over the cap, counting on Kane LTIR to get these two signed. Perfect storm of salary cap incompetence.

From what I’ve learned Broberg is a gamble, but I’m fine with that. We’re rebuilding/tooling so if after two years he sucks, well he’s gone and the spot is open for either one of our other defensemen or a FA signing.
