My favorite part was when the ice did start melting they improvised with little life rafts on their skates to stay buoyant. It really gave home ice advantage.

For those of you that dont understand, this was begore the original teams moved. The lightning moved in 1971 to Toronto and became the leafs. Thats why the leafs have rhe same color as the bolts. The Panthers moved a year later and became the Chicago blackhawks. The NHL finally allowed teams back in FL once the air conditioning technology caught up and was able to keep the ice frozen in the heat.
