Do you blame them? Other teams are going to try and get the best return they can. We would. Do you think we'd gift Calgary or Vancouver or Winnipeg or anyone else if they were in a similar situation. Honestly IF Kane is LTIR they can keep Holloway, Ceci, and Kulak. Honestly it's more a matter of do we WANT to afford Broberg? I don't think we do.

I would pay for Broberg. Any guy who is that green and looks comfortable in stanley cup final with barely any experience is a good sign.

with Bowman as GM you can expect Oilers to get 0 help at the deadline a top 4 Dman will be super expensive

This is my prediction. Bowman places Kane on LTIR, resigns both Holly and Bro. Broberg gets traded to a team not named St. Louis, LA, Calgary, Vegas and Vancouver, for a late round pick to clear out the $4.5M. Holloway stays with the team. Ceci gets traded for a late round pick. Bowman signs FA Justin Schultz under $2M on a one year contract
The Blues are gonna need an enforcer when they play Edmonton, cause they have stirred it up!
