I like Barrie, but I believe that that would be dumb. However, idk if Stetcher is a good D man for this team in the playoffs.
Lillagren from Toronto what's your thoughts
bring back Tyson barrie
yammamoto is still unsigned as well 😉
The PTO is nice because the player is in game shape if it doesn't work out. Tyson would be nice but if cut I could see him joining San Jose or Ottawa easily, maybe even Chicago.
As a Blues fan since we are enemies now I’m assuming, where would you guys rank them in terms of enemies? 2? 3?
GoOilersGo!!
Let’s get this show on the road!!
💪👏💪
Some people said both OEL & Shayne Gostisbehere careers were over & they came back so at this point I'm not counting Tyson Barrie out until he proves otherwise. I personally think it's worth giving him a PTO and depending upon how the Oilers plan to deploy him matters imo. I see him as an insurance for back up power play specialist. He can skate the puck out of harms way & as a puck mover who is a proven decent passer All he needs is to be sheltered with the right partners & time on ice imo.
PTOs are never risky but signing the guy for too much money afterwards definitely could be. However, at a bargain price, I wouldn't be opposed to TB at all. The way I see it, we could use an upgrade at 2x LDs and 1x RD and we could do a lot worse than a low priced Tyson Barrie. Doesn't hurt to take a look. If he doesn't work out, we don't have to keep him.
I'd be stoked to see Tyson Barrie back with the Oilers for another run. Be cool to see him get a Cup ring.
You know, I never thought about Barrie and PP2. That would be something.
Not sure what to think about him coming back though. What does he think of being offered a PTO I wonder.
I kinda would like to see a player step up you know: Emberson, Brown, Stecher, Gleason, Wanner, Hoefenmayer etc.
And then there is Akey… Did I hear he was injured most of the season and only played 14 games? I saw him play last season after he was sent down, he was a stud.
Bringing back Barrie would be hilarious … especially on a league minimum…
Imagine trading him at the deadline for a Ekholm caliber player who shoots right…
Us Oiler fans can dream… lol
Why not someone like Schultz, klingberg, giordano, shattenkirk, or even Deangelo? I would rather have one of those players over Barrie
I agree Patrick!
What about klingberg ?…I used to want him here but he seemed to disappear off the radar!…I think he should be a good pto guy to bring in!…he’s also big!
Barrie is def lability even slower than before but Tinnordi would be a good fit
As long as they don't overpay him.
Tyson Barrie would be perfect for the 2nd pp line. Gives the 1st pp less stress and responsibility.
Simply as a depth move … Give him a 2 way minimum contract. It has to be a 100% team friendly deal.
He might if he wants to win
If he signs for minimum you won’t even get to send him down lol. Your crazy lol
I think barrie is talented enough to keep it simple.
Anything on Niemeläinen? Is he in the doghouse?
Who thinks nurse should have to do a PTO
