A lot of young talent, interested in seeing how ot comes together after a dumpster fire the last few years. Jarmo got desperate and made some bad moves like Bancock. The house has been for the most part cleaned. Now let's see what they can do

Re: laine: Habs got a proven STUD whose fallen on hard times BUT he's still only 26yo!!!! He's just approaching his prime!!!! If he shows up eager to revive his career…watch out!!!!
Re: CBJ management: they've been the laughing stock of the NHL for years. Craig Button absolutely eviscerated the management group the other day. He went as far as to question why any player would want to play there…ouch!!!
Re: Waddell: the Laine trade tells me he had nothing to do with the Aho-KK offer sheet fiasco other than doing what he was told by the owner. He made a decent hockey deal for a promising young "D" for a disgruntled potential superstar and it really benefited both teams. He didn't balk that it was the Habs. That indicates to me that the Canes' owner pulled the strings on the spiteful KK offer sheet.
Bottom Line: CBJ has some good young talent and should develop into a competitive team BUT what will Gaudreau do???? If he flops again this year they'll be in trouble. Monahan was a GREAT addition and maybe he'll spark Gaudreau.
