This is the game I had to watch since the flames game was blacked out for me, it was sure was entertaining. So close though, four minutes left and it all falls apart, that’s the worst feeling ever..believe me..it’s happened to us
Wow, that's the best DeBrusk and Ullmark have looked all season. Nice to see Gryz getting on the board. Still wanting to see more from the Foligno and Hall. Didn't notice Moore much in the highlights. Huge game for Marchand.
Edmonton looked really competitive, was a real nail-biter. Hopefully there's another game between these two again soon. Great game.
The Oilers have the Canes tomorrow. Another loss. The Oilers are in trouble. They keep having to play catch-up. Better to play a more sound defensive game because their defence is horrendous right now. The Oilers could easily miss the playoffs because the Sharks, Ducks and Flames are playing incredible hockey and the Knights are back
Yamo gets tripped right infront of the ref leading to a goal. Literally a gift from the ref as Yamo would have just cleared it out if not for the trip. Some missed calls as well as some weak calls going both ways; if this game is reffed properly the Oilers get back a goal scored on them and and have five more power plays and the bruins gain two power plays. Teams like Boston know nhl refs are a joke and won't make 50% of calls and refuse to call anything over 5 penalties in a game… so they play dirty all game knowing it won't hurt them.
It's crazy to me how nobody's talking about how bad the refs were this game, and I'm a Red Wings fan so there's absolutely no bias from me here. I watched this game cause it was the only hockey game on and I needed something to watch, but good lord. You'd think that because they're in Edmonton they'd be bias towards Edmonton, but nah these were very clearly American refs cause the amount of calls they missed was mind-boggling. It's LITERALLY the ONLY reason Boston won the game, not to mention Ullmark's unreal performance!

Watching the highlights, it seemed Oilers were on the pp the whole game. They don't sow the penalties.
I would surmise is that Edmonton is not clicking because of 2 superstars getting most of ice time ….suck it up butter cups you get paid millions

Fans , last yr. said the Northern League was the weakest link , 2 0f the highest point getters are from Edmonton & Toronto in 2021 , how ironic !!!!!
Every nhl team should devise a “oilers penalty kill”
