Receny bias is a hell of a drug having Q. Hughes in the 2 spot.
Bouchard needs to perform away from Ek to put himself in the top 5 imo.

This list is terrible lol. Fox and Bouch should be higher, Hedman, Forsling and McAvoy should all be lower.

Saying GUSTAV FORISLING is better than ADAM FREAKING FOX is for one, absolutely an incorrect statement, and two, an incredible amount of recency bias.
Also, I’ve heard for a very long time that Roman Josi is an incredible D-Man, but I’m not really familiar with his game, other than that he puts up a ton of points. Could someone give me an insight on what makes him so good compared to other similar players?

Weird. Given the conversation over the last few weeks in r/hockey, I’m shocked that Broberg isn’t in the Top 3.

So we have pretty good defends

Honestly 11-20 is pretty good. 1-10 isn’t the order I’d have them in, and feels like what you’re « supposed to say » though.
I’d have Makar, Fox, Hughes, Josi, Bouchard, Heiskanen, McAvoy, Hedman, Forsling, and then Morrissey.
At the end of the day the best defenseman isn’t the best guy offensively or defensively. It’s the guy who has the most positive impact on a per game basis.
