Every year a guy like this comes over from Europe to the Leafs, usually you get a Mikko Lehtonen or a Kirill Semyonov who never amounts to much. I don’t blame anyone for assuming that this guy who never proved much in Toronto would be the same. He had a good run in San Jose, made some money, I’m glad for him but he was never going to get the opportunities he got there here.
