  1. Here is my crack at making some lines for the 2024-25 season! The Hawks, as of now, are very LW and C heavy so some people will need to play the off wing.

A lot of it depends on health. Look for Hall to be lost by, what, game 20?

Not the strongest of lines. I dont see us improving too much this year. Our D looks better.

So the Hawks reward Dickinson’s great play last year with $4M just to bench him?

Has Tuevo ever played C? I’m hoping Bertuzzi lines up as Bedard’s LW, imagine him rushing the net and being Bedard’s Zach Hyman.

I ask this honestly not trying to be a dick, but is this a shit post?

    – Benching arguably our clear cut 2nd best center for why exactly?

    – You have Kurashev playing his offside and have Teuvo who’s a winger playing center…

-Levshunov isn’t playing this year, except “maybe” a few ending games in April. That’s a big maybe.

    – You have neither Bertuzzi or Teuvo on Bedards line which was the entire point of acquiring them to help him with more talent.

    – Korchinski is likely in Rockford, and you bumped Vlasic our arguably best D man on the 2nd pairing.

    – On top of all that you have Maroon AND Joey Anderson making the team over players like Slaggart, Nazar, and Dach.

    Buddy.

Off the top of my head if it doesn’t look something like this Richardson is on crack

    Bertuzzi – Bedard – Teuvo

    Hall – Dickinson – Nazar

Reichel – AA – Kurashev (this line was buzzing 2 seasons ago)

    Foligno – Donato/Slaggart – Mikheyev/Smith

    D:

    Vlasic – Jones

    Martinez/Korch – Murphy

    Brodie – Kaiser/Allen

    Mrazek

    Brossoit/Commesso

    Just my top general thoughts:

    1. They don’t bring in two top-6 forwards (Bert/Teuvo) to not have either of them won a line with Bedard

    2. Levshunov isn’t playing in the NHL, save for maybe a couple games at the very end

    3. Vlasic and Jones should probably stay as the top pair.

  6. minimal-thoughts

I see Kurashev in L1 with Bedard as he thrived there last year. Not sure they’d sacrifice his production by moving him off Bedard’s line. Reichel very unlikely to even be in the top 6; I think he’ll need to prove himself before he can be promoted like that. I see Bertuzzi in L2 with Kurashev moving to L1. Vlasic and Jones for D1, Korchinski down to D2, Levshunov won’t be up until late in the year if even that.

Tuevo not a center and Reichel on the first line?

Dudes lucky to just he a thought on the trading block

  8. majoritynightmare

    Bert Beddard kurashev
    Turbo AA reichel
    Hall Dickinson mikheyev/rotation
    Rotation for the 4th

Hall will need to get it together after a year off and a year old, get eased back in. He is ultimately trade bait come deadline. Nazar will start in rockford, doubtful he finishes there. Also, you ride the Bedsy Kurashev chemistry til it doesn’t work.

  9. big-chicago-guy

lol at least 5 forwards underneath mikheyev are better than him. levshunov (and even korchinski) won’t even be here.

  10. Couldn’t be much worse than this. -100 puck knowledge

Is teuvo a center? I thought he was a winger.

And at this point in Hall’s career I’d rather see teravainen on the top line
