  1. I understand Bouchard is worth a lot, but his success as a D man heavily depends on a strong defensive D man paired with him. I feel like that cannot be overlooked when negotiating. Maybe I’m over exaggerating but Ekholm shares the same credit as Bouchard surrounding that lines success.

  2. Bouchard might be worth alot in the NHL market but I have to wonder how good he would be without the upfront talent of McDavid? Would he be as good or more average?

  3. Hoffman, imo, is behind Perry who is behind Ryan on the old man depth chart… Ryan plays C and both he and Perry are R shots…

And, 2 of the 3 should be, at best, starting as the 13th/14th forwards… with the other in the AHL/released in Hoffmans case.

Nuge… Skinner… Janmark (defensiveness wins here) and Podz (too risky on the waiver wire… are ahead of Hoffman with Kane on the shelf.

I think Hoffman could be useful, in case of injuries, however… barring an injury to Skinner and-or Nuge… his D just isn't very good to be playing on our primary checking line.

  4. Mike Hoffman…We will see but I'll be surprised if they sign him. He may land elsewhere later on though, time will tell.

  5. I would like to see a 3 way trade. Cam Brown Corey Perry and Derek Ryan sent to Columbus and getting a prospect back from Montreal
