7 MO YEARS!
MajorasShoe
They both signed friendly contracts. Beautiful. 8 years would have been better but that would be pretty unreasonable at that AAV. This is low, but not a crazy low deal.
In a perfect world it would be 8 years, but I’m not going to be picky lol. Salary is a bit lower than I expected, but he does come in higher than the other RFA deals signed recently among the guys drafted within a year or two of him.

Wow. This is boarder line best case scenario.
In a few years, this is going to be at the top of every list « Best contracts in the NHL » « Contracts that aged beautifully ».
Holy smokes. Imagine the value at years 6 and 7 when this is like 8% of the cap for our number 1 D.

Thank fuck
That’s a massive win. Was worried it would be 6, but 7 years at a caphit lower than Lark is incredible.
Who? Alright… let’s play some hockey.

Hey short term deal soy boys
7 is good, it’s actually nice that his and Raymond’s contract expire different years.
As a German Wings fan… so happy Mo is staying. Can’t wait for him to dominate these next 7 years!
