Good 🌄, Gil, how are you? The Islanders started training camp yesterday. They're back on the 🧊, and Patrick Roy set the tone right away. If they keep working like this, they'll be just fine. I'm glad The Islanders are back. Anthony DuClair did some practice with Barzy and Bo 2 weeks before camp officially starts. Lou Lamoriello making the coaching change when he did was a very smart move. First Preseason game is Sunday vs Devils. Kyle Oposo's calling it quits after 17 years, 9 of them as an Islander, and he's retiring in style winning The Stanley Cup in FL. HAPPY 🎂, TROY LONEY He won 2 Stanley Cup while in Pittsburgh and Trots was there. When we were talking about #18, he was narrating the game between The Islanders and The Boston Bruins that they won 9-7 on 01/18/1973, at that time, it was the closest The Islanders would come to winning The Stanley Cup. Good morning team! Gil, can't believe we're here, at the start of preseason! Got the Devils, as early as this Sunday! Loved this episode. Glad to hear Roy is cracking that whip early. Seems to me he has that "win now" attitude as well. Hopefully the team responds the way he wants. I look at it this way.. The team would be so much better if we played exactly the same way we did last season, only difference being, our PK is vastly improved. Even if we were in the middle of the pack, and not the absolute worse PK. In my opinion, we would have a very dangerous team, and each of our opponents would have to bring their A game.
