The suspect thing I have with Johansen is that he played all 63 games for the Avalanche, then gets traded to the Flyers two days after playing his last game of the season (March 4th), and apparently has an injury that keep him out for the rest of the season, yet no issues before the trade?

Pretty happy with this contract as a Dallas fan. I remember being a little annoyed at the 5.8mx6 when that was signed, but this is a much better deal for the team since he's improved a lot over those 6 years while taking a discount now at 5.25 for the rest of his prime.
maybe down the Road the Capitals are thinking of changing to red,white,blue screaming Eagle jerseys and make a road uniform so if the put that out now when they change to it the fans would have mostly already bought it that is why the Black is coming now . i would also like to see Blue , White, Red screaming Eagle too the Capital building logo i would also like to see one a red,white,blue jersey i do like the Capital building logo wish it was used more . I'm a Krebs fan and I would love to see Buffalo improve and be at least a playoff contender. I would love to see him have a chance to get a ring since he was on the other end of the Eichel trade a look what happened.
Torts knows precisely that this is his last coaching gig most likely. He said all the right things, and knows Michkov should be there way longer than he is. I don't believe he will do anything dumb, but he needs to show that Michkov is not above the team, so I expect some early push to make the point that it is a team sport.

If your GM is coming out and saying "I expect my coach to ostracize and yell at our top prospect" I think you have to wrong coach. I get it. "He got more out of this team than any other coach could" last year. But Torts is a cancer to young, growing players. The longer he stays here, the worse off this team will be in my opinion.
