The Seider Edvinsson pairing doesn’t last past pre-season. There simply isn’t enough talent on the DCorps to run with that. I’m really hoping Johansson can earn a spot and show well.

Newsy said this may be the time for the entire leadership group so I wouldnt be surprised if both Ray and Mo get a permanent A and then there is one rotating A between some veterans. As for Mo/Simon, last year Mo only played with Walman during pre-season, so just the fact that Newsy is entertaining the thought of Ed/Mo at all is notable.

Got to see Danielson in Portland a bunch of games. He is just a standout player you always notice him and in good ways. Both ends of the ice just so smart.

It feels like Simon may end up being the best on the team, but Simon and Mo would be a great matchup pair with high power top line teams like Edmonton for example. However, for most teams I would split them.
Lombardi looked awesome, probably not a roster spot in the NHL but could make a case this year later if there’s injuries or next year out of camp. Cossa is the same I thought he looked good and if Husso and Lyon get hurt he could step up. Marco looked good, noticeable and he did seem lot quicker than last year
Didn’t go to Red and White game but was at camp Friday and Saturday. I agree Danielson and Mazur looked good, but Kasper was an absolute beast! Definitely thought he was the stand out amongst all the prospects!
