I really could have done without Levi scampering around outside the crease and almost getting an own goal…. 😮 But otherwise yeah that was great! Loved that 4th line, I’m so stoked that there seems to actually be some depth to this team!! 🎉🎉

The way Lindy has this team playing so far is exciting. It’s Buffalo hockey. I don’t care who we are playing or what players are in or out for the opposing team you can see the new influence in the lineup and we will not be pushed around. Go Sabres!!!!!

Benson is an absolute menace
I thought they played well in the first period despite the shots. I felt we had alot of chances just the shots got blocked or Lindy told them after that that they were too fancy and not playing simple. Levi was spectacular but he cannot play the puck. We will get a real test of our prospects in tomorrows game since all the NHLers are going to Europe. Is Benson getting better and better each shift??

13 years of no play-offs leaves your team with a crap ton of high 1st round draft picks, 1st overall draft picks, and just a ton of skill overall.
Just needed a coach to put it all together, a coach these players can respect and will get them to put in the effort, to finish checks, to fight for each other when other teams are playing dirty. Lindy is that guy and this team could surprise the entire NHL if this team can become physical with all the skill already on the team.
Quinn, Benson, and JJ are the real deal, that is 3 young studs coming up to help TT, Cozens, and Tuch carry this team to at least the play-offs.
Lindy is really got this team where we want them. The brightest part for me is the scoring is not just one or two lines… 1, we've had some D-men scoring including Samuallson… Him scoring is RARE.. like a steak still mooing.. 2. Powers put in two already… still no Dahlin who is our scoring d-man. This is spread around as it's not just top 2 lines but the bottom 2 as well… That's what Adams was trying to do. When 4 lines can all score, and you are the opponant, who do you match up against? Talk about screwing line matchups up. Yeah, it's mostly our top guys against their half and half… but it still shows up.
I know it’s early and I’m not doing a “Koolaid Keg Stand” after just 2 preseason games against teams playing a lot of AHL players, but based on the style the team is playing under the coach GMKA brought in and the SPEED and HITTING from the players he acquired, Adams should get a LOT of consideration for GM of the Year if this team ends the drought in a HUGE way!!
Not saying it’ll happen, but if this small sample size is a glimpse of what the season may look like,he should be a strong contender!

Canuck fan here and yet I always have a spot in my heart for the Sabres. I hope that they will win the cup in the next few years hopefully after the Canucks.
They looked good, no doubt. But let's not kidd ourselfs. In both pre-season games they met pretty much AHL-rosters.
