Brett Pesce on the ice is very good news indeed.
That is a really good forward group from top to bottom.
Is this haula first preseason game or did I miss him playing in an early one?
D core looks decent too. Little bummed casey isn’t getting a look higher up on the depth chart with the full team assembled but no rush to force him into the roster. He’s gonna end up on it sooner rather than later I think
Is that our D core on opening day? It’s a bit of a bummer. It looks much stronger when Luke and Pesce are in.

I really don’t love burning a contract slot on Zboril. Would rather Casey or Misyul fill the spot in the interim. Obviously we don’t know Zboril has made it yet, but considering he’s playing tn means there’s a good chance

Pesce is still not ready to play says HC Keefe.
Jake Allen will play the full game.
Hatakka is out, still being evaluated. Keefe said it’s not something that is just “day-to-day.”
Also says that, Casey, who was on the ice this am, will not play tonight against NYI.

This is impossible. The scouts on this sub said Meier was going to be on the right side and told anyone who thought otherwise they didn’t understand hockey. Maybe Keefe should get with them before releasing a lineup like this.

I know it’s been trending this way the last few years. But my god, this line-up compared to the « Rutuu-TooToo-Boucher » top line, or whatever the fuck we had, is such a sight for sore eyes.
Labanc not even getting a real shot with the club. Skated with 2 career AHLers.
But hey we have MacDermid who’s literally a modern version of PL3.
A stick is a useful tool for most hockey players but for MacDermid, it’s a blunt instrument.
Would much rather have Labanc being 13th forward on this team than MacDermid who’s only useful « skill » is punching people in the face. We have plenty of guys now who could step up and take care of matters (Dillon, Noesen, Cotter, Bastian)
