Why wasn't Lysell up with Freddy and Potsie? I think the wanted to assess both of them in isolation. That's why they gave them a couple NHLers as line mates. Both of them got to play their natural position.

Marchand is the Captain and future hall of fame player. He has a lot of influence on opening night roster. He loves Poitras sp he is a lock. There is no way by his comments and Marchand path to NHL that Lysell starts on second line. It's either Poitras or Freddy. Freddy and coyle chemistry undeniable. Plus this is Freddy break out year. Geekie looks awful. I am hoping it's rust. I would almost rather TJ on PTO but we all know Monty and low qual love them some Geekie so he has to battle on 3rd line minutes with Brazeu for the year who is not a 4th line guy. Sorry he just isn't. But he is great off the bench which a lot of players cannot handle. Lysell has to earn his stripes on 3rd line. His back checks will earn great respect and as low quality said keep Poitras off the wall. Let Poitras and Lysell create chemistry and Geekie slash Brazeu protect them if needed. Let Freddy evolve into a second line stud with Coyle and give Marchand room to create Havoc. I would have liked to see Koepke on that line as well with his great forechecking.
Lots of emphasis put on making the team after tryouts, etc. I get that. Of course, players move after that. A few months after that, teams see what they have. Would you rather make the team now and get sent down or come up and stick later? Braz is a great example. And he's not looking back. Tufte will pull a Braz…watch. Same type of player…big frame, a few years older, and can net 20+ in the AHL.
Ok, will you get rid of the DeBrusk jersey. I’m loosing confidence with you, DeBrusk was just average at best. If I played on the line with Bergeron and Marchand I would’ve scored more goals than him

Geekie needs to be 4th line
Here is the thing nobody takes into consideration. The Bruins for the better part of 20 years have been a lock down defensive trap orientated team. This kind of defensive tend to make the goaltenders much better they are. It will be interesting to see how Ulmark performs this season without the same system out in front of him. Swayman should take the 6 Million for 2 years bridge and try free agency when his bridge contract is up. Look at Ulmarks numbers before being a Bruin.
