Sounds like something a serial killer would say. Judge Xhekaj will settle this once and for all.

    Edit: it’s satire guys…

They posted his parents names and address all over the place. Which is worse an accident in a fast physical sport or putting out a hit on someone parents?

I don’t think enough has been made of Laine trying to skate through two guys with his legs extended instead of stopping up or passing/dumping the puck.

Unfortunate play and result but some fans are acting like it’s one of the dirtiest plays of all time.

Laine is mostly at fault for his injury.

Most people should be able to tell he didn’t mean to by watching the clip. Laine puts himself in a dangerous spot and it’s a very unfortunate result. The mugging by Xhekaj was much worse.

Two things can be true, Laine was stupid for trying to cut in where he was and Pare did lean into him as well. Didn’t like the hit and even though I can’t stand the Habs and Laine, seeing a guy get hurt like that before game 1 is terrible. But us fans on both sides have gotta chill. Doxing, wishing injuries on players, and laughing about Laine being injured are all psycho behaviour. Be better everyone

Honestly I think a lot of knee on knee hits are accidental. This one was bad, he tried to play the body but hit him awkwardly resulting in the injury. Feel bad for Laine.

There’s boneheaded fans with all teams, but the Habs have among the worst … Probably due to the size of the fanbase.

Anyone who actually played a high level of hockey and watched that play knows that was almost entirely Laine’s fault …. He tried to dance through 2 guys at the blue line, head down and not even moving his feet. If Laine has the skating ability to pivot or even crossover while handling the puck he likely would have gotten through.

I don’t know what Laine was thinking to be honest.

Of course Pare didn’t mean to do it, Pare didn’t even have forward momentum he was holding the blue line and shifting body position.

The worst part of the entire sequence was the Bertuzzi style punch on Pare that resembles nothing to do with hockey.

Laine drove himself into the play it wasn’t pares falt. We watched 👀. What about Johnny? That was intensionally done.
