As a somewhat new NHL fan, does defence take longer to develop or wtf is up with our D prospects never making the show?
Fingers crossed that Hunt can beat out Merrill. He’s still there, so that is positive. It would have been easy to send him down today with ROR and Lambos. He’s ready! Let the kid play.
i wonder if russo is going to apologize for being a total asshole on his podcast for the last 6 months, and say how dead fucking wrong he was about reilly heidt. dude went on so many rants about how the wild signing some depth players was blocking out heidt and others who clearly showed during this camp they’re not ready to play in the NHL.
he’s always been an egotist, which i don’t mind, but it’s gotten really painful the last year or so. it’s almost like the organization knows where its players are in the development process.
some people here could take a few lessons from how the young players performed in camp and pipe down about guerin’s decisions.
