It always blows my mind when people who are dealing with a serious life threatening problem can stand in front of the public and make everything feel like it’s going to be ok.
Rodion expressed his optimism about what he was going through. Gord Downie did the same as another example of how the words make US feel ok and then they just pass.
I mean these are different levels of fame but they have a mic thrown in their faces even at the worst times in their lives and they want YOU to feel OK about it.
I really can’t explain what I’m trying to say properly but it’s HEROIC and also very unnecessary for them to speak publicly.
Fuck the 2% of Habs fans that talked shit about this young man that had the biggest balls in the world.

Apparently, Hab fans think it is okay to do so if your Star player (Patrick Laine) gets injured by a Leaf accidentally.
I don’t remember us stooping so low as to make fun of deaths when Perry took out JT.
