Er,…the effort on the speculation 🚉 is..there, but it seems to me in ancient times it was; let the kid play, enjoy it, and let the coaches and management decide, then whine about it 😂

100% Give him his 9 games, if they get paid by the day instead of by game – spread that out over the first ~12 Flames games so he gets paid more – which he can invest in his training, diet, & development. Then you re-evaluate after towards the 9th game. All we know is that he deserves to play a bunch of NHL games.
