  1. Nhl proving again it’s run by a bunch of clowns that let the players do whatever they want as long as they pay 3 grand and have the nhl issues an apology

  2. Remember NHL…You are capitalists. The players are your money makers, not the refs. Instead of non-calls leading to player attacks on each other causing injuries and penalties that take the players we want to see play out of the game, how about letting the players go after the incompetent refs? After all, a lot of injuries result from retaliation after a non-call. And we, the fans, would much prefer ref injuries to injuries of the players we love to watch. Think about it, and let me know. 🙂

  3. Good on Tkachuk. I’m a die-hard Leafs fan but I don’t think we’ll see Matthews fighting for anyone anytime soon and Tavares is a great hockey player and is always credited as being a great human being but great human beings will give a beating and take a beating for their people. I’m from the West End of Montreal and I took lots and I gave lots so I’m not shooting off my mouth. I would rather my friends see me take a beating than see me as a coward.

  4. 5min major for interference??? show me in the rulebook where tf that is… I'll wait it doesnt exist. all the NHL Ref's rode on the short bus as kids… f*ckn hell

  5. Habs fan here,
I’m fine with them ejecting him to control the game, however…. Call him for a charge for leaving his feet, there was contact first which wouldn’t make it a charge but there’s no way that’s interference, he had just released the puck and watched his pass. 0 contact to the head however it did seem to make everyone much happier that he was gone even Savard didn’t argue. I’m sure Marty was fine with it to afterwards just wanted to figure out why it was called.

Also the reason his helmet came off was the force of the hit, there’s a famous f1 crash here the dudes shoes and socks came off due to the speed of the collision, glad to see stutzle was ok tho, 1 hell of a player. Stay awesome everyone.

  6. When the announcers aren't watching the same game as the rest of us.
'stick to the face was self inflicted'… smh
He was head hunting and wasn't going let a twig get in his way.
    :Pathetic take by 'commentators'?

  7. How was Xhekaj not suspended for this? The league and the refs are turning the NHL into a joke. No proper fights to settle the beef so now all the young guys are getting headhunted by the bottom 6. Wouldnt be surprised if the NHL revenues decline heading into 2030.

  8. Grieg does same thing to dach and don’t answer the bell. No one want the heat then we go after their players the same way they go for ours.
