@Lightning de Tampa Bay

J’ai vu ça sur Facebook. Je ne sais pas comment cela pourrait fonctionner, ni même si cela se produira

    Big energy usage energy on that one. I would figure Tropicana would be better, but they used it already! It wouldn’t be special! We have to do it BIG!

    I can’t find anything outside of this so idk

  3. WDAE has been a pretty reliable source so I’m excited if this is indeed true. Lightning vs Panthers in Feb.26?

    It’d have to be at night and unless the NHL is doubling the ice cooling capacity of their other outdoor games it’s probably gonna be that the rink is incased In a plastic bubble that uses positive air pressure and ac units
    to keep the air cold enough to support the ice

  5. This is a BS source but it could absorbs some. They did a game in LA

  6. Sorry, it’s just not going to happen.

    Conditions are too crazy, doesn’t stay cold long enough to plan, just don’t have the climate to support it

    There’s not a fucking chance they will be able to get a good wet cut on the ice with a zamboni outdoors in Florida. Think of how long it takes some of the older indoor rinks in the area (cough TBSA) to freeze a new layer in the summer…

    If they don’t want pucks sticking to wet ice like its super glue, they’re going to have to just mill the surface during intermission and it’ll be rough as shit.

    If it’s true I’m swiping up tickets for that. I’ve been wanting an outdoor game for a while and I think it would be really cool to go

    It can definitely be done. This will be cool.

    TBL went down the path of trying to make this happen like 2 years ago. Got really close, ultimately the league pulled the plug because the weather is just too unoredictable.

    It has to be a night game in the winter and hope there’s a cold front. Also, read they’d try and put some kind of fabric across the stadium during the day to reduce sunlight on the ice.
