At this rate, with the other major injuries going on in the league this preseason, there’s no reason to play your NHL regulars in the preseason

  2. We’d have to sign like three more players to be above the fuckin cap floor lmao. Thanks for once, NHL.

Time to start looking at Hagens, McQueen, frondell early

  4. Thanks i hate this

For real though holy shit poor Boone, dude basically *never* missed time for anything other than that one « middle body injury » till recently. I swear since he got the C he’s missed more time than i think he might have the rest of his entire career combined.

I feel really fucking bad for him because I’m sure he was really excited to step into Nick’s shoes and make his own mark on this team, and then his body was like « nah none of that ».

  5. I mean we weren’t going to be competitive this season, but now we won’t have any clue what full strength would’ve even looked like. For fucks sake.

We aren’t even close to hitting rock bottom, and that’s the more depressing thought for me. Every step forward or shred of hope is instantly or eventually erased by tragedy or unpreventable “bad luck”

Can’t believe we’re in mid season form already.

It seems like every year we are shredded with injuries. I know some injuries are to be expected, hockey isn’t a game for the weak, but it just makes me wonder if there is something in our strength and conditioning that could reduce our chance for injury.

I figured it was going to be long-term when we signed another forward. Here’s to a speedy, full recovery for both!
