  1. Outside of the Vancouver Canada name. I see them a wildcard spot. Still undersized and if a couple of players play their best season ever.

  2. from what i was seeing in the preseason hoglander looks like he has really stepped up his game and i think he might shock a lot of people and put up some serious points this season

  3. i'm not big on giving up the russian d man in abbotsford. slot friedman or juulson there and i love this trade.

  4. That trade was the worst thing I have had the privilege of hearing if u give up lekker u need a wholeeeeeee lot in return and give up nothing else

  5. Trading Lekkerimaki would be a mistake. We could win this year, but we're also primed to have even better shots in the next 2 years. We have D in the system with tons of upside

  6. Dude super take with Parayko? Can't argue. Super impossible to figure out how but absolutely the right idea? However Lekk is unknown despite his pedigree and we don't know what else is up Allin's sleeve? He is cooking. Subscribed. 🙏🦄✨♥️

  7. EA sports’ GM mode has fucked you up son. Lekkermaki is a blue chip prospect. What planet do you live on where we trade him, and one of our solid centres AND a 3rd round pick for anyone not named Crosby? Horrible take

  8. None of that matters if Demko isn’t back and playing at an elite level. You can make those changes, but we haven’t seen either of the healthy goalies play a full season in Vancouver and maybe they keep the Canucks above water for a while, but Demko has to be back to at least 90% if they want to win a Cup.

  9. So just trade away two of our top five most exciting prospects for a second or third line defender no thanks.

  10. That's a horrible trade! Alvin loves Swedish players, so no way in hell they'll trade a future star player like Lekkermaki for a cup running rental. They need Suter in the playoffs and have been playing well before his injuring so no to that option. There's going to be many injuries towards the run for the cup especially in the playoffs so highly skilled replacements like Bains, Raty & Lekkermaki is essential to carry the team forward.

  11. I would would rather trade Demko, that's if any team would want a broken goalie with a permanent knee injury. Demko will never be the same goalie as before since he has to play differently to favor that knee. Silovs & Lankinen are exceptional goalies both at approximately $850K & $875K but Demko is $5M per year. I would free up some cap, only if a team would want him?

  12. Instead, they got the lefty Erik Brannstrom… small-ish… but drafted 15th overall in 2017. Speed and puck movement! Another offensive beast. Hopefully Myers makes himself the wall.

  13. We can win the cup this year but what’s so exciting is we should have amazing chances to win for the next 2-3 maybe even 4 years. And Laekkermaki can definitely help with that
