I was pretty bummed too but change is necessary for growth. Ee had a good run but time to move on.

Sad to say but it’s business. I hope the best for him.

He’s still playing professional hockey where he chose to go and provide for his family. Life goes on. He was the 1st ever Golden Knight to get a contract extension which kept him here an additional 7 years which helped lead to a cup. Win win for everyone.

It’s probably one of the first ones where it felt ‘wrong’ to see him in another sweater, but it’s how it goes. If Steve Stamkos can’t retire as a Lightning, then I think all is fair in love, war, and hockey free agency.

As sad as I was when I found out he was going, I am glad I get to see him more as a Nashville native. I went to two preseason events, one game and one showcase, and he didn’t play either. I’m trying to get tickets to opening night so I can see him play.

Doesn’t suck at all. He decided to leave then badmouthed the team after he made his decision.

If it only just wasn’t the predators. Ugh.
We live in TN and go see the Knights every time they play here. It’s going to be tough to see.
