  1. The brand new Professional Women's Hockey League is working hard to get off the ground and Campbell decides to ditch them to coach men's pro hockey. How selfish to turn her back on her sisters just to make a name for herself.

  2. Seattle care more about virtue signalling then winning. Hired an unqualified coach so they can say he hired a woman. She is nothing but a woke move by a team that doesn't care about winning.

  3. Interestingly she admits that “the door will be held open” for women. Not that women will earn their way thru the door. Not that women will crash down the door. Men, as usual, must hold the door open for (strong! independent!) women.

  4. I’m a hockey fan and Canadian. I laughed at the news she was an assistant coach. This is gonna be a car crash

  5. lets give her a chance…the HC worked with her in AHL and felt she was deserving… time will tell

  6. 58 yr old Canadian and life-long hockey fan (still play the game myself). Women have no place in the men's game.

  7. Time will tell. I am absolutely against female coaches (trainers/medic is a whole other conversation) in men's sports. We'll see if harassment issues come about or if the Kraken even make the playoffs. Either way will be a laugh. What female wants to get in the middle of MENS sports? She said it herself, Pride. She can't even talk about hockey and coaching in the interview. It's all about her being an "empowered woman" and "holding this torch". Obnoxious. Entertainment to the fullest.

  8. Forget she is a woman. She is 32 years old with womens college experience. 1/2 the players will be older than her and know 10x more about pro hockey than she does. Are there any male coaches in the NHL that are 32 years old ?

  9. IT will be a major dumpster fire. There is no way that woman can relate to what it is like playing men's hockey!

  10. Im shocked its not a black chick because they came out recently and called nhl racist since there not enough black players..funny how they dont have a problem with nba being majorty black but hockey to white according to espn
