RoR has missed three amazing chances and we’ve had two wide open nets missed. Frustrating game, but we’ve looked really good everywhere else so feel good about the season. Just some mismatched goalies and bad puck luck tonight. I have a feeling we are going to blow out some teams.

I’d say that the game was a product of not being quite sharp enough. Not to be confused with John Haynes era unpreparedness or sluggishness. It’s that we didn’t have quite the level of shooting or puck handling you typically expect. I’ll chalk it up to it being the first game. Sucks to lose, but we move on to Detroit.
