Sorry Flames fans. I love Kuzmenko but you have to trade him. He is in the later stages of his career and we are rebuilding. Kuzmenko plays well, you can sell him high and get good pieces.
Should be very interesting to see how the flames handle Mantha and Kuzmenko, especially if they do want to get more youth in the lineup more often.
When will we ever get a Top Talent Center ???
That should be the goal for Calgary in the next few years
If the Flames can extend Kuzmenko for 2-4 years at $4.5-5.5mil/yr, I think we should keep his Right Shot and Elite Skill around
Mantha is nowhere near as consistent or good as Kuzmenko. That said, I hope he keeps doing what he did in Game 1
Kuzmenko still has to prove that he can maintain scoring pace. I wouldn't discount his age. He is the same age as Draisaitl.
Kuzmenko and Mantha should both be traded for assets!! Andersson is the whale you don't have to trade him but you should the return would be huge!!!
Love Pinder and his continual, "30 year old" take on Kuzmenko. No he isn't.
How about flipping it around and saying that Kuzmenko is just getting his career started in the NHL? He is the most skilled player on the Calgary Flames.
Kuzmenko is the kind of guy you want on your team/bench/lock room not only is he skilled but he has more character and personality and humour to keep things light and happy. I think he’s very important to any team.
