1. CNBC had documentaries about owning sports teams and how lucrative they are as their values soar year after year. Need a serious owner, dedicated to bringing a competitive team, and for cripes sake, not in peasantiville Glendale where peasants live, BUT CENTRAL DOWNTOWN PHOENIX!!!! Matt Ishbia is kicking the tires on this, and the most cost-effective way is to build an arena for NBA basketball and hockey. He can get it right. It will work in Phoenix.

  2. What was the beef with Seravalli? Did he get a lot of hate bc he said the yotes were leaving and ppl got mad at him in denial?

  3. As a Arizona sports fan, and Philadelphia sports fan from New Jersey I hope the Arizona Coyotes will return to the Grand Canyon state, and the NHL even though I've never heard anyone saying that the Arizona Coyotes will never return to the Grand Canyon state, and the NHL except for those crazy annoying Salt Lake City Utah sports fans, and Las Vegas Nevada sports fans but nice going Utah Hockey Club, and Vegas Golden Knights you made a bad move

  4. I would definitely❤to see the brand new arena being built for the new Arizona Coyotes, the Phoenix Mercury, and the Phoenix Suns in north Phoenix

  5. I’d love for all this to be true but the Yotes are gone until they aren’t in my book. Holding on to hopes and rumors is just going to lead to disappointment. I’ve switched my hockey fandom until such a time that we have a new team in AZ with a serious owner and a bespoke arena.

  6. FINALLY this travesty is over! Nordiques are forever gone = US TV rights, high taxes, etc. Next will be KC for sure, could be Houston or Milwaukee as 34th team, perhaps OKC or Atlanta and mayyyyyybe Phoenix but I seriously doubt the new arena.

  7. Sorry… while i don't have a dog in the fight being on the East Coast….
The diamondbacks relocating to Utah is more likely to happen over the Arizona coyotes being resurrected in 5-10 years!

  8. Last night Bettman said "we tried for 24 years to make a team in Arizona work", when asked about the Coyotes move to Utah. So unfortunately? it doesn't sound like giving Phoenix another team is a high priority for the NHL. There's still a good chance Phoneix will get another team eventually, but an arena will definitely have to be built, first, and 5 years seems pretty optimistic

  9. I have no idea why this team folded sure they where not good but the same can be said with the Montreal Canadians have not won the cup since 93 and the Ottawa Senators never won the cup and the Toronto Maple Leafs have been sucking for over 55 years but these teams get to keep their teams i don't get it
