@Avalanche du Colorado

  1. Hey guys, error in the video: The last goal I showed was let in by the backup. Completely forgot he got pulled.

  2. Georgiev reminds me a lot of when Samsonov was in Toronto. Some nights he looks okay, some nights he looks like a Vézina candidate and some nights it looks like he is a fringe beer league goalie. Far from the only two goalies to have that, but two very recent ones.

  3. How the Aves only have 1 cup in the past years blows my mind, but Georgiev definitely isn't getting them another.

  4. I love how last year during playoffs, we said “we’re never doubting Georgie again!” But he is complete crap this year and we really need an upgrade… whatever we’re paying for him is BEYOND TOO MUCH and he’s not worth it

  5. Remember when Kuch is this mad, which is almost never in the regular season, he's apparently a piece of shit Russian

  6. so its completely fine to complain about the refs when you lose if you cheer for any of the 31 teams in the league but god forbid a leafs fan does the same thing lmao. honestly pathetic how everyone shit talks the leafs for things every other fanbase does 10x as often

  7. Here’s the thing. I get athletes wanting to win, but as a fan I couldn’t care less about consistency. What I’m saying is, had my Edmonton Oilers won last season I would not care if they fall off the face of the earth. I just want one Cup man. Just one.

    (I’m clearly not an athlete)

  8. I've always said the same thing. We need an overly emotional competitor on the Rangers. Someone like a Tkachuk or Nate.

  9. Even though he is playing terribly, you really should give him the respect of pronouncing his name correctly. You know you're doing it wrong, yet continue to do it. For a league that has players from all over the world, learning how to pronounce their names is something that is worth doing out of basic human decency.

  10. As a long time Denver Fan its hard to watch. We love Georgie, but were in prime years still. I feel like the Avs know and are looking for a trade as any franchise will do. The Backup is also not the choice but sometimes goalies just need to be pulled. I remember the playoffs last year and thinking this exact same question but also our defense was bad imo. We should be looking for a goalie that is used to playing fast paced games and can get spark saves on breakaways from all the takeaways we allow.

  11. since shesterkin doesn't want to resign with the rangers perhaps he would take less to sign with a contender like colorado

  12. Georgiev has always been ass, whenever he drops games like this bednar just says it's things the team needs to work on, which is true but, every game is going to have defensive breakdowns, and Georgiev needs to be able to back the Avs up when that happens, he might bounce back for a couple games, but he's not consistent enough to be a starter for a team that's trying to compete for a cup

  13. The league needs more of players showing up the refs for dogshit calls until the NHL finally decides to step up and penalize dogshit officiating. That is an absolutely horrendous penalty to call at any point in a game, but at the end of a close game like this it calls into question the integrity of the refs.

  14. Nate needs to get a reality check. But at least this time he slashed the boards and not a ref. Dude forgets how he two-handed a ref a few years ago and probably deserved to be suspended for the rest of the season but got a slap on the wrist instead and basically got gift-wrapped a cup from it all. Fake champ, but all too real fucking baby.

  15. Bro please, can u stop saying Georgiev's last name like that? It's not George like u anglo speakers know.

  16. I mean Georgiev has been atrocious, but the 5v5 defence of Avs hasn't been nothing to write about either. Even MacKinnons defence caused a goal in Avs season opener.

  17. Remember when Tony D got his whole reputation ruined for doing the same thing but getting attacked after by a emotional Georgiev? I wonder if Georgi lashes out at Mac if Mac will similarly be scrutinized, or is it only a problem when Tony D does it?

  18. It's pretty weird to me that they even tried to stick with Georgiev considering they had this exact same problem for long stretches last year as well… The guy had one good season in 22-23 and has been average at best for the rest of his 8 year career almost entirely as a backup, it's not like he's some young guy who's figuring out his game.
Then again who knows, goalies are weird and all it takes is one spark for him to be right back in that golden year form.
