Not having them available anywhere else sucks, but I guess I am something of a pirate myself

I have Prime and I still hate the fact that games are on there. Just feels more inconvenient for me to watch things having to load up an app to watch stuff (I’m probably in the minority who still channel flips during commercial breaks/intermissions, but that’s less possible with games on streaming services since it takes longer to do so).

At the very least, would be cool if the prime coverage shows everything like our pregame video, team skating on the ice with enter sandman playing and everything like that. Make it feel like you’re at the arena.

  3. Will be interesting to see if the quality is any better on Prime than SN/TSN streaming (which suck). I’m watching a bit of the pens/habs tonight to get a sense… so far the pregame stuff looks really good so there’s hope!

I’ve yet to be able to watch a game. CBC Gem was « not available » across the board the other night and before that, no stream would function. So I’m glad I’ll be able to watch at least a few games this year.

Don’t judge, but I’m watching the Pens and Canadiens on Prime right now, so far so good.

Don’t forget to check out the center ice promos….had to watch one there the other night!

  7. And an FYI for those like me in the US, the Prime games are shown on ESPN+, watching Habs/Pens currently.

If I have Prime and live in the States can I watch?

My feed keeps going from crystal clear to potato and then back again. Is this a me problem?

  10. Leafs actually have 6 games on Prime this season

You are right. Because it is on Amazon which I do not have I will be unable to watch it…*Whistles*

  12. I couldn’t watch the game tonight because I was getting such bad quality with the stream. Hopefully its better for me next week

We finally have an ex-player analyst in Messier who’s an ex-champion and a Hall of Famer like almost all the other sports leagues have for their panellists (just look at MLB on FOX having Big Papi, A-Rod, and Jeter and then we have to listen to fourth line plugs on Sportsnet lol).

So we’ve now got Sportsnet, ESPN, TNT, Amazon, NHLN, any other networks to add to the juggling act?

Do the same stupid regional blackouts apply? I end up sailing the high seas for most all games except those on HNIC and the rare weekday national broadcast.
