Vrana is going to be the best Caps player on the ice tomorrow. That’s my prediction.
The third line was a disaster Saturday, so good reason to get Jake in there. Lapierre was disappointing notably, so hopefully he bounces back.
Hope this dumpster dive works out. On the other hand, AC is flat out DOMINATING in the WHL. Wish he got a 9 game look.
Put Milano on waivers
That third line combo of Vrana-Lapierre-Mangiapane is a speedy trio. Conversely though, the top line of Protas-Strome-Ovi might be the league’s slowest line though hopefully Ovechkin playing on his natural hand side allows him to speed up his game a bit by not having to cut across from his off-hand side to tee off a shot.
There’s pretty much no way that he’ll be worse than Milano was. What happened to him? Was it really just the pressure to prove himself and get a contract that kept him going the last 2 years?
