I'm good with 2 and 2 vs 4 and 0 followed by months of chaos… Broken record, but Jarry seems like a wonderful human being, just not a #1 goalie 🙄Geno seems like a Beast and I'm not surprised by that at all 🤘🤘
this team looks different in the third period.. albeit, it's own been a few games, but still… the narrative over the past few years was build a 1 or 2 goal lead.. then cough it up in the third, with a weak goal against Jarry, on top of it… They've had fight in them so far

Beau needs to be dropped to the third line. Sid line looks very vanilla at the moment. Sid, rust, beau are all similar sizes with varying talent levels. Doc brings a big body to the first line and makes it more dynamic with his forecheck and power.

Third line looks good now. Two young fast and furious winger and smart center. No need to tuch this line for a while

The last two years, this team would not have won last night. This team looks and feels different. NOT a Stanley cup contending team but there is a different more positive energy. I feel some of the "new blood" has made the difference. IMO. Thanks DK. I listen every morning!!
Just hope the old guys can hold up. I'm still not a Jarry fan but were just gonna live with him.
Very impressive win. Montreal is good. 2 of the 3 Jarry gave up, he should've had. But, he did make some big saves after that.

I just don't trust Jarry.
What I am liking is the depth scoring they are getting. The third and fourth lines absolutely look better than they have the past couple of years. Sid doesn't have a goal through 4 games, and The Penguins have scored 6 goals twice, and that is encouraging while their captain hasn't registered a goal yet.
I know the third and fourth line depth is not up there with the teams who won back to back cups in 16 and 17, but no one can argue it's looking better than it has the past two seasons.
Montreal has always been a bad match up. Shocked that we won.
They are playing really well and off to a good start. For a little while I thought they may lose but, not this time. They responded with a win. Thank you DK, great show.
Like you said, it's early. How much are teams able to game plan for other teams? I mean, there isn't much time between games like football, and basketball isn't as dynamic as hockey. I want us to be in every game. If they lose it better be 4-3, not 6-0.
