@Avalanche du Colorado

Oh mon Dieu…

1. McKinnon's tantrum was ridiculous. It's early October. He just looked like a petulant baby.
Even going back to the preseason, what's with all the tantrums lately? Do these players think they look cool or that they look like they care a lot? In reality they come off as spoiled brats.

  2. Just gotta get through November at close to .500 and hopefully Lek, Big Val, and (prayer hands) Landy back to make this team whole and awesome.

  3. since shesterkin doesn't want to resign with the rangers perhaps he would take less to sign with a contender like colorado

  4. It's so funny to me, Oilers fans already panicking. STFU, you guys went 2nd last in the league to Game 7 of the Final – there's 79 games left.

  5. Hopefully management doesn't make any knee jerk decisions – I don't wanna have a revolving door of goalies like the Leafs…

  6. I'm an Avs fan, and I'm worried tbh. I don't see us winning at the end of the season when it counts. One win to start with would be good.

  7. There is an hidden statistic over the pure numeric one about allowed shots. You can allow opponents to have 40 difficult shots and take one goal or 10 easy shots and take 10 goals. Sloppy D or bad G?

  8. Makar and Toews need to step up in their own end. Makar is very very good but i dont care how many points you put up if you can't take care of business in your own zone.

  9. When you have even just barely decent goaltending, your entire team plays differently. instead, the Avs are playing like they're desperate to not let the opposition have the puck because evey time they have it, it's like a 50% chance it's going to be a goal against. And when you're in panic mode like that for most of the game, you're going to make mistakes. If your goaltender puts up a .900 and a GAA lower than 3, you can relax a bit, and focus on your offense, and get creative. Avs are playing like they don't trust Georgie, and they really shouldn't

  10. I have family in Denver my team the flames are playing awesome I wish Colorado will pick it up

  11. A .900 save percentage isn’t good in the nhl? Tell that to Stuart skinner and all the delusional fans of his..

  12. No comment on the Avs not acknowledging the deaths of the Gaudreau Brothers, especially as they were playing the Blue Jackets?

  13. Okay, as a Leafs fan, I admittedly just mostly focus on my own team and let the rest fade into the background until our teams are about to match up.

When I saw VGK had 8 goals against the Avs with 21 shots, my eyes literally bulged out of my head. A real "…that can't ACTUALLY be real, right…?" moment.

  14. Honestly nobody’s saying this but I will, I like Khakonen, he was intriguing when he was in mini, and looked real solid in Jersey.

And honestly he played better for the Sharks than Georgiev has for the Avs while having a way worse Defence.

I’d say this guy could take the reigns.

  15. There's a lot of Chatter in the League that The Avs Might Trade both Annunen & Georgiev in a 3 Team Deal with Boston and Columbus. Obviously, we are only 2 games into the Season, but the Avs played Poorly during The Warmup Games or Whatever. I Actually Feel Mac's Furious Outburst Could be Helpful, Hès Showing Playoff Passion in only the Second Game.

I would Personally Start Annunen for a Few Games and Claim Husso off Waivers. Husso is a Really Potentially Excellent Goalie who was on a Team with the 5th Worst Defense in the League. Send Georgiev down to The Colorado Eagles for a Few Weeks to see if He can get His Shit Together.

I Have to Agree with Several People in the Comment Section talking about how Bad of a Start the Edmonton Oilers had to Start the First 35+ Games last Year and How they Not Only Bounced back but made it to the Conference Finals, and The Oilers have McDavid, but their Depth is not as Good as the Avs.
