I'll say this about georgiev. He showed potential in the playoffs. We're just not sure where that version of him went and thats the problem.
Secondly ill say that unfortunately Friedman from 32 thoughts might have been right that this first month is gonna be rough because of who the avs are missing. as a good chunk of their depth is out right now. Drouin,toews,lehkonen,nichuskin, and technically landeskog are all important names to this team and I think they're feeling that. So hopefully when mid november comes around this team will be a wagon.

The problem with Georgie is he might have had a lot of wins last year but a lot of those the offense dug him out. So this just isn’t this year it’s been a trend

I think the big thing is we all know who we’re up against in the Central division. Every point matters if we’re trying to win the division or getting home ice in the first round. With Winnipeg and Dallas not dropping a ton of points, it makes it difficult to stomach this kind of start
The start to the season dampened my excitement even more than the off-season did. We'll win a game at some point and yeah a lotta season left.

Expectations are high for this team, so of course such a terrible start is concerning (as you say, not just the losses, but the nature of the losses). It is way too early to be freaking out. Hoping they will be up to the task tonight against a good team that will demand everyone to be on point and prepared. Booing the goalie is crap and our fans should be better than that. Are they thinking that's going to help? Gross.
