But that assumption is based on a small sample from the 2022-2023 season.

Not worried about him, I like his game. He may well wind up on the wing someday and be great at that, but right now there isn’t anyone to take the 2C job so let’s see how it goes

Evans and Dach have identical offensive output at even strength for their career. And Evans did it while playing 4c while Dach was getting 3c, 2c, and 1rw minutes.

Everyone needs to settle down about Dach. The kid is coming off a major injury. He is young though and will get his feel for game back. A lot of time left for him to come around and the playoffs are not a priority this season.

A lot of Habs fans have already forgotten that this team needs more time. I feel like some expect a 100’point team after starting the season 2-1. Not saying it can never happened but certainly not expecting it
