Mr. MM does it all. He possesses, creates some awesome scoring chances with his passes, but he CANNOT score for this team all in the same. I have seen MM setup Konecny for tap-ins and other players with one time slapshots pointblank in front of keepers, and these guys either miss the net completely, wiff on the puck, don't get all of the puck, etc etc etc. While I am very hopeful for this team and see they can improve. I still see the same exact issues as last year. Missed shots, missed easy goals, sloppy defensive turnovers, lack of awareness and hustle in our defensive zone. All of this not to mention that Cootsy is absolutely a shell of himself, unfortunately. The scoring will come I am sure. Tippett will turn it up, along with the other boys. While it's way too early to even talk about playoffs, I can currently say that I wouldn't be surprised if this team narrowly misses out again. But, they could narrowly make it. Either way, the Flyers have a few more years to get this team to Cup contenders. 100% will need 1-2 Defenseman and at least 2 more actual natural goal scorers.
