  1. Back to playing old men and tossing the young guys like Johansson in the press box. I hate this coach man…really gonna play Petry, holl over Johansson…

  2. here before all the negative wings fans. lets all bear in mind its game 4 of the season. there are teams labeled "cup contenders" that are at the bottom of the standings and worse records than the wings (COL, EDM, NAS) .. its gonna be fine everyone. slow starts happen.

  3. It’s on the coaches again at this point.
They’ve been way better than Blashill… But gotta make better adjustments before games, and during games!
    Come on guys!
Our offense looks like crap! Watch the rest of the league, even the crappy teams have better puck movement/decision making.

  4. So much negativity in here. Brutal.

Newsy's system is fine, albeit boring. We just don't have all the right personnel to play that type of hockey is all.

We will win alot of games this year, it's going to be tough against top teams with legit offense though.

  5. Scratch Johansson after how well he's played, Lalonde is a complete fool. Wings will probably continue to suck and he will be replaced mid season.

  6. Johansson should be playing. The future isnt in any of the aging vets on this defense. Its in the youth. Johansson has done his time and earned his spot. Bouncing him in and out of the lineup is going to shatter his confidence. Its a terrible development strategy.

  7. Shoulda scratched chariot instead of Johansson. I don’t get it. This coach said in his last interview of the year he wants more “youth”. Uh huh, then why tf are all these old men in throughout the lineup and the youth is riding pine? I hope the rangers pound us into the dirt tonight.

  8. Where’s Jared Bruessel at?? Yeah we didn’t forget about you all pre season talking how it was just pre season, and this team was going to ‘perform’ in the regular season. Don’t be hiding now coward.

  9. Mo gets $6M per year to play hockey and another $2M to handle the brain dead Detroit press corps. Hope he doesn't get too tired playing 30 minutes per night, but at his age he can probably handle it.
